Operating since August 2005, LeFlore Communications  provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and Professional Services in the following areas:

* Professional Counseling and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services

* Trainings, Workshops and Special Projects for Business, Human Services and Governmental Agencies.

LeFlore Communications strongly supports collaboration for mutual benefit with other small businesses and consultants with complementary areas of expertise. We work with freelance writers, graphic designers, project managers and other independent contractors on special projects.

Recent Contracts

• Federal Contract for Veterans Readjustment Counseling services, with Subcontractor in Muncie, Indiana (2011-2012)
• Federal contract to provide 5-day  “Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training" in October 2011 at U.S. Army ACC MICC Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA; Goal for Training of Trainers to help personnel recognize signs and provide emergency first-aide to persons at risk of suicide; 116-page Training Manual with evidence-based resources developed by LeFlore Communications for project. 
• Five years to-date (2007-12) as Consultant/Grant Reviewer for Federal Special Projects with diverse panelists for U.S. Dept. of Justice and HRSA.
• Special Projects Trainings and Communications (staff trainings and writing/editing for publication) for Froedtert Hospital (2007-08)
• Corporate Communications (writing and editing) for the MLK Business Improvement District (2008-09)
• Grantwriting for Milwaukee Health Care Partnership (MHCP), which resulted in obtaining $500,000 in funds (2007-08) 
• Annual Contract (2005-2010) with Milwaukee Health Services, Inc., for corporate communications inclusive of quarterly newsletters and annual reports, and special public relations projects.
• Short-term Projects: Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division to provide cultural diversity training for management staff (2011) and City of Milwaukee communications project for energy efficiency program (2011).
